Great ending to 2015
Just before the new year, I setup my 5.1" reflector telescope and pointed it to M42, the Orion Nebula. Setting up the camera, I adjusted the settings to 3200 ISO, and the timer to 4sec. I engaged the remote trigger and the camera snapped away... About a hour and a half later, and over 300 images, I started sorting them to stack my image.
I was baffled at what I found. There in the corner of the image, was the remains of a meteor! The first time that I got a image of this detail, with the swirling clearly visible.
To say the least, this was a great ending to 2015.
